Our Story

Our Philosophy

Brian Cleveland Architects is a responsive architectural design firm focused on building sustainable and resilient spaces to live, work, and grow. Located in Fairfield County, our team of architects and designers provide architectural, interior design, and site planning services throughout Connecticut. Our firm focuses on a wide range of project types including; single and multi-family residential, office, cultural, municipal and industrial buildings as well as adaptive reuse. Our client base includes home owners, entrepreneurs, developers, municipalities, not-for-profit organizations, and housing authorities. We pride ourselves on the long-term relationships we develop with our clients. Our ongoing relationships with several factory-built building system manufacturers allow us to expedite the delivery of completed building to the market. While under construction, we make sure to minimize waste and energy used in the construction process, allowing our clients to occupy their buildings more quickly.

We consider the unique needs of each project such as site context, use, and sustainability goals. Our team is brought together by the belief that every structure should be created resilient and sustainable. Our firm strives to develop highly energy efficient buildings following the principals of USGBC LEED, Passive House and EnergyStar.

We spend most of our time indoors and the way that we live, work, and grow is defined by the design and construction of the space. A well designed space can inspire creativity and innovation and positively affect our physical and emotional health. Connection to open space, natural lighting, healthy construction materials, and well design mechanical systems all promote health living while being indoors.
