River Run Apartments is an affordable housing development built in 1985. Thorough inspections revealed the building to be in serious structural disrepair. Buchanan Architects oversaw substantial repairs to the brick-veneer façade and the installation of new roofing, flashing, windows, and balcony doors. The apartments, many of which had suffered water damage, were renovated and received new kitchens and bathrooms. New interior and exterior lighting was installed, and repairs were made to the sidewalks and parking lot. Finally, the public spaces were given a facelift.
